About Woodside Capital
Woodside Capital Partners is a boutique investment banking firm providing M&A and capital raising financial advisory services to emerging growth companies in the digital media, semiconductor, and alternative energy sectors. Our reputation is built on deep industry expertise, senior-level attention, and a proven track record of building value for our clients. Our business network encompasses strong relationships with venture capitalists, corporate executives, and entrepreneurs throughout the world. We are unique in that we place a much greater emphasis on strategy than most investment banks. A detailed understanding of your core intellectual property, sustainable competitive advantage, and channel strategy ensures that we create an optimal customized solution for your business. We do not simply 'repackage' your existing business plan. Rather, we invest the time to understand the relevant strategic, market, and business factors that shape and inform the best execution strategy-all with the objective of maximizing value.
About Poker 2.0
Poker 2.0 tournaments support the startup community by bringing them together in a relaxed and fun atmosphere where ideas are shared, relationships are forged and trash talk is encouraged. Players include founders and execs of startup and early stage technology companies as well as the investment ecosystem, including angel investors, VCs, investment banking and venture law. The tournament will last approximately 3 hours and 100% of the tournament buyins are divided among the winners. The stakes are kept low in deference to the bootstrapping startups. For this tournament, the buyin is $10 and there will be unlimited re-buys for the first four rounds. Trophies, awards and bonuses will also be distributed to the players who earn them.
